OG reinvents pop music

08 Apr 2008

OG Luke Chow has earned comparisons to leading recording artists such as Elliott Smith, Dave Matthews and Morrissey with the release of his debut album, Inspired by People.

Describing himself as a 'former choir-boy with a multicultural grasp on life,' Luke is already a prominent figure in the Hong Kong music scene where he has quickly attracted a cult following and garnered considerable media attention.  Producing fresh and highly unique acoustic pop sounds, Luke claims that his music defies the stereotypical 'pre-processed' sounds of today's pop music and hopes that his work will combat the notion of pop being the 'dirty word' of the music industry.

Luke attended Gresham's from 1998 to 2004, a member of Howson's House.  Entertaining by night, Luke spends his days as a Dentistry student, claiming his two chosen career paths are perfectly compatible for now and he is keen to continue pursuing both professions.
